Labour-Support
Support throughout pregnancy, labour & delivery, and early postpartum period.

Consultation—serves as a time to get acquainted, outline services and answer questions
2 Prenatal Visit(s)—to explore priorities, fears & concerns, review “wish lists” (birth plans), and introduce comfort measures/relaxation techniques for labour & delivery
On-going telephone/e-mail support during pregnancy and throughout first 8 weeks postpartum as needed
24 hr on-call support beginning 2 weeks prior to due date until birth of baby
Early labour support as needed (telephone and/or in-home)
Continuous Labour Support (in home or hospital) -emotional support and encouragement, birth guidance (on-going explanation of labour events, answers to questions), assistance with comfort measures (massage, relaxation techniques, position changes, hot & cold therapy, etc.), practical support for mother's partner/support person(s), other support as needed.
Birth photography (if desired)
Immediate Postpartum Support (1-2 hours following birth)
Breastfeeding support (if required) - beginning immediately after birth and throughout early weeks postpartum
2 Postpartum Visits—follow-up to birth, emotional support, breastfeeding support, referral to community resources and information
CD of pictures and birth story
Access to my personal lending library of resources (books, videos, etc.)

Assistance and support for mothers with health complications during pregnancy and/or mothers who simply require additional support with daily activities.
